Oticon's Streamer is a Bluetooth device that serves as a gateway between your hearing instruments and electronic devices such as Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones or external audio sources. The audio signal is picked up by the Streamer, and streamed directly into the hearing instruments. In addition to enjoying hands-free binaural connection to phones, you will be able to connect to TVs, PCs, mp3 players and car navigation systems.

Streamer Wireless Technologies

The hearing instruments will only accept audio streaming from the Streamer to which they are linked. Pairing of the Streamer to your hearing instruments has to be done by your Hearing Care Professional.

Streamer Range: Streaming audio - 0.5 meter (20 inches). Remote volume control or on stand-by for receiving calls - up to 1 meter.

Bluetooth range: 10 meters (30 feet) in open space. Pairing is done via the mobile phone

Bluetooth
Bluetooth technology connects the Streamer with Bluetooth devices. Linking (pairing) to a Bluetooth device is done via the device.

If you need help in determining whether a mobile phone supports Bluetooth, ask the mobile phone carrier or the audiologist.

Please note: The use of wireless devices and their accessories may be prohibited or restricted in certain areas.
