Written Testimonials

"My experience with A&E has been exceptionally pleasant. They were prompt in seeing me for my appointment and my hearing examination was thorough. I have had two previos experiences which were neither pleasant nor thorough. The staff is also knowledgeable as to insurance procedures and filing claims. I am hearing better than I have for six years and my wife is happy to be able to talk with me without shouting. I am also happy to be able to hear in noisier environments and the instructions given to me about how to care for my aids have helped me to understand how to maintain them and keep them working."
-Robert R., Elizabethtown Pa

"I am very happy with my new hearing aids. The clarity is much better with people speaking in a group, and the television is much clearer than before. It’s as though I don’t even know I have them there!"

-Carol B., Strasburg, PA
"I am so pleased with my new hearing aids. It’s such a pleasure to spend time with my family and friends now. They all tell me how wonderful it is that I can hear them!"
-Kathryn J., Quarryville, PA

"I am very pleased with my new hearing aid and especially so knowing that it is under warranty of life (CHC). I met Zoe and Andrew early on and was impressed by their helpfulness. Andrew temporarily repaired my old aid which I need as a spare and saw to it that it was properly repaired and still useable. The Best part…no charge. Zoe went about her business taking measurements and in not time I had my new hearing aid. Thanks Zoe. A little later on I met Andrew’s mom Kamal. In addition to all her other jobs, it’s my belief that she also bakes the cookies that are available in the waiting room. I guess you can say I’m well pleased with the way you do things. Job well done mom! Thanks to those I have met and to those I haven’t.

I have had hearing loss in both ears as long as I can remember. In 1973, I had surgery on my right ear, and had good hearing in it for many years and my left ear I could not hear. I always had to turn my head to the right so I could hear people talk. Doctors told me a hearing aid wouldn’t work. After over forty years, I have hearing in my left ear. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have hearing in both ears. Unless you have experienced it there is no way to describe how great it is. A&E Audiology has opened up a new world to me.
-John T., Lancaster, PA
A&E Audiology has been extremely efficient and courteous. For each appointment, my waiting time is less than five minutes. The doctor herself comes out, greets me, and take me back to her office. The staff is extremely knowledgeable in their field—top notch! And the entire atmosphere is completely relaxing. At the age of 86, I find that comforting.

Dear A&E Audiology,

I just want to say thank you to Dr. Elliot and her staff for the help and guidance they have given me in diagnosing my hearing loss. I couldn’t be happier with the improvement I noticed in my hearing since being fitted with my Oticon hearing instruments.

If I had one word to describe how my severe hearing loss affected me it would be ISOLATION. The world around me was going on, but it was so challenging to understand or be a part of it. Now, I can even hear the birds outside my open window. I can hear those talking to me and I can be a part of this beautiful world God created.

The services given to me and my daughter who came with me was amazing. They explained things so well and they prepared me for each step of what to expect, how to care for the hearing aids, and the equipment to care for them. Just last week we were able to “welcome” a newcomer to A&E by telling them how blessed we (my family included) are.

Thank you A&E!

-Mary G.

Since 1994, I have been wearing a hearing aid in my left ear. Several years later after a hearing test, I ordered one for my right ear. Satisfied with both until early 2011, I was having difficulty hearing the TV. My family agrees.

I decided to give A&E Audiology a call. I had a hearing test and explanation of my hearing loss. As of June 2011, I received my Oticon hearing instruments and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I ask my husband in the next room to turn the tv down because its too loud.

I recommend A&E Audiology for all hearing problems. Dr. Schmidt is very knowledgeable and understanding.

Certain things were hard for me to un-scramble especially my kids and grand kids when they talk. Phones were also bad. I had tried aids before but they just made all noise louder. After seeing A&E Audiology’s newspaper ads, I thought why not try? Big tech changes through the years. I’m picking up things as I didn’t know I missed things such as rain on the roof. I can hear and understand all my relatives except my son when he is talking on his blue tooth in the truck. Too bad my ears itch and hurt a little from the inner plugs. Service is great! I hope it continues.

Well when I was born the doctors told my mom and dad that I was going to be deaf & not talk, but look at me now! I am just hard of hearing and the hearing aids really help me in my life. I have an interperter at school in case I miss something that the teascher says. So that is the end of my story.
